Yes, Pecan Square will be home to its own elementary school, middle school and high school with a stadium complex in the future. The on-site Johnie Daniel Elementary School is under construction now and slated to open for the 2023 school year. Until then, students will attend the Lance Thompson Elementary in our neighboring Harvest community.

A municipal management district, or MMD, is a special district created by the State of Texas to finance facilities not provided by a municipality. Having a MMD at Pecan Square provides not only for the financing of infrastructure such as water, sewer, drainage, and roads; it also funds the maintenance and operations cost of right of way landscape within the property.
